Ladder & stuff
Daniel's crew came and installed the ladder that goes to my roof to my garage. I gave Eric, Tom and Mark a tour of my house at lunch time and saw them wielding the ladder before installing. I didn't have my camera and it was night time when I got home. Will take pic and post soon. Cool looking ladder.
Stitched pic of my backyard.
Not pictured above. I laid out left-over paver stones and put my garden table-bench on it. I spent last Saturday toiling and amending the heavy clay soil in the light-well and digging out (and smashing some concrete) out of the well. I'm gonna plant watermelon and honeydew melons in there. Maybe more?
My little avocado seedling at work.
My venus flytraps. I hope they come out of dormancy and vigorously grow soon.

Repotted 2 of my new fruit trees
Potted Red Baron Peach & 4-in-1 Pluots, into 15 gallon CAP Gro Pots. Ran out of potting medium for the apple.
I'm planning on getting Red D'Anjou and perhaps a Gold Nugget Mandarin.

Mailbox plus Multi-grafted Apple and a Red Barron Peach!
My custom fancy but heavy steel mailbox.
My multi-grafted Apple tree. Gala, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious and Fuji.
I don't really like Granny Smith so I'll probably try to graft something onto it at some point.
Red Barron Peach Tree
I could not stop thinking about this variety, so I went back to Summerwinds and picked one up (and the apple above).
Its flowers are pretty!

Pluot tree for my new house.
As a house warming gift to myself, I bought this 4-in-1 multi-grafted Pluot tree from Summerwinds Nursery. Its a very nice tree.
Grafted on it are Flavor King, Flavor Queen, Flavor Supreme and Dapple Dandy. All good varieties.
I got a hold of a small tiny piece of scion from a 'Red Barron' Peach and tried my hand at grafting it onto my ornamental plum tree in my backyard. I hope it works. This peach has nice red double flowers, so if it takes, I should be able to see if it flowers.

I'm in!!!
Friday March 1st, 2013
After packing like a madman, I've finally moved into my home.
Its still a work in progress and the place smells like paint fumes but its so cool to be actually sleeping here. I celebrated with Char-sui pork crispy noodles from Ki-Rin restaurant.
:-)
