Outdoor electrical box/house

So, I am building a box to house my electrical and air pump stuff to protect it from the weather.

I had this huge piece of 3/4 inch plywood that was practically rotting outdoors. It was a very nice 48 x 48 sheet that I neglected to bring indoors and it got weather damage over the many years it was in my backyard. It was a bit warped and I was a little scared running it through my table saw but it cut through like a trooper. I discarded as much of the damaged and distorted parts I could and found there was plenty of material. The box measures about 8 x 11.5 inches. the roof was cut on my table saw with a 30 degree bevel to make that cute roof. I also used waterproof glue to put the baby together. The next thing to do is put little legs under the box, drill holes to allow electrical wire and air hose inputs and outputs, then put a final coat of paint.

I clipped the top tip off Manila to encourage branching. I was surprised at how mangoey the sap smelled.My Shinseiki pear put out two blossoms. Not sure if it will bear fruit?

I buried a small pump and an air-stone at the bottom of the pot. I'm thinking when winter comes I will be able to use it indoors. I repotted Julie and a leaf fell off. The tap root was bent; that happens when growing in a 3 gallon planter. I hope it will continue growing. the roots I think are okay but I don't know if they're healthy. I gave it a good soaking and topped it off with Dyna-gro's Protek and Grow 7-7-7 fertilizer plus Superthrive. I hope this will boost Julie.

I love it.

I can't believe that I am the owner of a Julie Mango grafted tree. Its small but I hope it grows. I purchased it from Nipahut.com a Florida Nursery.

I paid about $48 for the plant (which includes shipping). It spent almost 7 days in a box traveling to me from Florida. Wow. Then I decided to plant the little mango plant into LECA which I bought at Home Depot for about $33 then the pot was from Lowes for $13. I put in a drip irrigation part for $5 more. This is gonna be expensive especially if the little guy dies.
I think the top part is the remains of a bloom? Maybe?
I feel so nostalgic about this plant. Makes me think about my youth in Trinidad.

May 23rd Gardening

I bought this Manila Mango at Lowes. I was surprised to find it actually. So I had to buy it. Suppose to be cold tolerant but I have no idea if it will survive. I also bought a Julie Mango online from Nipahut and will suppose to get it Wednesday May 26th. I hope it arrives safe. I have a container all ready for it.

Bought D'Anou Pear to cross-pollinate hopefully with Shinseiki.
