Forms are off

The forms for the walls are all off. The wall looks cool!
 Basement pond!

Wednesday evening

Yesterday, I went over to my property to see what's been going on and I saw that they took all the forms off from the inside and had started to take the forms off outside. The cement looked very nice. I wish I could touch it. But I was very likely to fall and hurt myself if I tried. Lots of nails poking out everywhere.
There was lumber and stuff everywhere. A big mess.
Can't wait to have the slab and first floor put in.

Poured the Cement walls!

The forms for the wall are built and the cement is poured into it. I saw some of it Monday morning. Cool. I didn't have my camera but Kirk took some on his cell phone. When I get them, I'll post them here.
Close up of the top of the wall. The bolts poking out are for the main floor.

On Monday, pictures below, they poured the walls.
This guy tests the cement to make sure its the quality its suppose to be.
Here I am watching Kirk take a photo of me.
The forms are half filled. They wrap aluminum foil around the bolts to keep the cement off.
 A view down the form.

First of three cement pourings.

Here we see the footings poured in and worked over. Next will be the walls, then the base slab. It rained today, so I don't know if that affected anything?
View from side.
From back to front: pipes showing sumps; basement stairway, bath tub, toilet, sink, washer & dryer and temporary pipe for testing leaks.
Main sump.
Update: I learned that four cement trucks had poured 40 cubic feet of concrete for just the footing. A typical house on my neighborhood probably has 20 cubic feet amount of cement.
