Sunday June 9th, 2013

I went and bought a Ryobi weed trimmer and found the weeds in my front yard way too tough for the trimmer. I resorted to choppong them out by hand. I eventually gave up as it was exhausting. I'm gonna have to go and get some RoundUp.
I decided to do another exhausting thing and move my Xerox printer up to my office. Followed by more exhausting activity of pruning my Quince shrub. Oh my gosh, I can sleep well tonight!

Here are some photos:
A hummingbird flew into my house. i first found it perched on my epiphyllum oxypetalum plant. I managed to coax it out the door without scaring it death.

My raspberry is finally showing grow in the form of two shoots popping out from the base of the plant. How cool.

My Hydrangea is no longer looking dead. New growth.

My dragon fruit is growing too.

My giant red begonias are popping out of the dirt.

My Gold Nugget mandarin.

Golden Delicious apples.

My Dancy mandarin flowering and recovering from heavy pruning.

A few of my corn are flowering. The melons are rather stunted so I added some fertilizer I got from Home Depot.

My grafted pluot 'Flavor Queen' is doing well. I grafted just below it a 'Flavor Supreme' variety.

Ralph gave me a seedling wisteria! I was so excited.

Can't tell if my Chives are doing well. They are still green but maybe I should put them in some heavy shade?
Et voilá.
