Happenings

View down laundry chute. To meet fire code this chute has to have fire-proofing materials used in the tunnel.

The dinning room area window being opened up to fit the window. Before.
After.

This is the first window installed (garage). A water-proofing engineer and what sounds like a whole bunch of people had to be on site to over-see the install process. I guess once this window was successfully installed, they can now proceed with the rest this coming week.

Many of the holes and gaps have been filled in with spray polystyrene and patched up with OSB.
Master bathroom.

Scaffolding has put up around my house.

Something weird is going on here? They pulled out some support beams for some reason and there is a big gap in the floor (viewed from the basement).
A view of the huge bolts that secure the metal sheer wall in the living room.
Gap.

Here the cement floor is being chiseled out to fit the sliding doors (I assume).
